Cake Decorating (Frosting and Butter Cream)

This hands-on cake decorating class teaches students how to create textured layered cakes using professional techniques. Over 2.5 hours you will learn crumb coating, Swiss meringue buttercream, and a variety of piping styles—from shells and stars to ruffles and rosettes—plus decorative finishing touches. The session focuses on practical skills you can recreate at home and culminates with each student taking home the cake they decorated.

Workshops may be canceled or rescheduled if minimum attendance requirements are not met.

Please arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Guests arriving more than 15 minutes late may not be admitted to the workshop.

Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Free cancellation up to 5 days before the workshop.

Guests who cancel at least 5 days before the scheduled start time will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 5 days of the workshop are non-refundable.

If Pura Vida Bites cancels a workshop for any reason, guests will receive a full refund or may choose to reschedule.
